Privacy

Your privacy is important to me. Supporting your right to privacy is a vital element of my business practice. As a professional, you can depend on me to protect your privacy and the privacy of your customers. When I create your customer success stories, I will comply with any information restrictions placed upon the data you or your customers share with me.

My relationships with my clients, and their customers shall always be conducted in an ethical and professional manner. My success depends on this.

When you sign up for my mini-newsletter, I collect your name and email address. This is used only to send you my mini-newsletter and periodic promotional emails about new services or special offers. I will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties.

Project Terms

I need to know all about yout project so I can give you an accurate quote. I use a client questionaire so I can capture the details of your project such as your project goals, target audience and information about your product or service.

With this information I prepare a quote delineating the project's scope, number of drafts included in my fee, timeframes and deadlines. I feel it is important that we agree to these terms so that we both know what to expect.

Once you've approved the quote and submitted your deposit, I can get to work. To give you an idea of what it takes to get started, here's a partial list of the information I'll need:

  • The contact information of the person at your company who will be making the decisions on this project. This will be the person with whom I will work most closely.
  • Background information and materials on your product or service, which can include any existing marketing materials, reports, product demos, and web sites.
  • Background information on the customer you want to feature in your customer success story and some details about your relationship with them.
  • The goal you want to accomplish with this story.
  • Your customer's contact information.

Payment Terms

My fees are determined on a per-project basis and are given as a fixed rate. I use a fixed rate for two reasons:

  • You are paying for my creative ability, expertise and talent. Unless you have hired me for a consultation, you are not paying for my time as the hours I devote are relative to each specific project.
  • With a fixed rate you will never experience "hidden fees" or other nasty pricing surprises. This allows my clients to budget more effectively.

To begin your project, I require 50% of my fee up front. This first payment is non-refundable. The remaining 50% is invoiced when you receive the final copy and is due within ten business days.
